Deciduous plants lose their leaves seasonally, usually for the dry season. Some deciduous plants include ash, maples, Royal Poincianas, Plumerias, Jacarandas, Pond Cypress, and Bald Cypress.

When the concentration of a nutrient becomes low enough in a plant to cause decreased growth or damage. It is often accompanied by visual symptoms.
